commitment

so today i figured out one thing. i might have a fear of commitment. i was reading another blog and it got me thinking. last year, i liked this boy and he liked me and i wanted with all my heart for him to always be mine. but when the time came, and he actually asked me out, i said no. something didnt feel right. now looking back on that, i realized i didnt want a boyfriend, a commitment. in my opininon, i believe having a boyfriend in high school sorta ties you down. now dont get me wrong, im not oppossed to dating someone in high school and i cant promise you i most certianly will not. but, high school is your time to just have fun and live life while your young. yes, times with your boyfriend may be fond memories, but i personally believe i do not want a serious relationship/commitment until im out of high school.
